El Porvenir is a premium winery that was founded four decades ago in Tolombón,  a region located 5000ft above sea level, a few kilometers from Cafayate, Argentina. Lucia Romero-Marcuzzi,  the Director of El Porvenir de Cafayate, infuses the winery with her innovative techniques and a passion to continue her grandfather’s vision. Believing strongly in Cafayate, and its potential,  its people, its history and its culture, Lucia has taken her grandfather’s legacy and successfully restored the 50 year-old Torrontés and Tannat vineyards while at the same time, bringing the Old winery up to date with investments in infrastructure and technology. Her winemaking techniques reflect the footprint of Cafayate in each of her wines.
