The Chateau Pomeaux winery is family owned with 2 hectares of vineyards located on the southeastern slope of the Pomerol plateau at the heart of Pomerol and St. Emilion in Bordeaux, France. Famous neighbours of the winery include Chateau Petrus, Vieux Chateau Certan, and Château Cheval Blanc.

The combination of magnificent terroir that is  a mix of gravel, clay, and ferruginous sand combined with the winemaker’s innovative techniques to sacrifice quantity for exceptional quality, while focusing on 40 year old 100% Merlot Noir vines, results in wines of supreme character and elegance. Overall, the Chateau Pomeaux winery produces an extraordinarily rich and robust wine with elegant balance and a delicate and marvellous bouquet.
